- It seems that the only problem that you are having is getting the person
- to agree to send the items to you COD. Perhaps this person that you are
- accusing of a possible ripoff is just being careful him/her self to protect
- from getting stuck with the COD charges.
-
- At least you should post the name of the person that you are having
- difficulty with, and ask them to respond to it publicly instead of leaving
- it open to speculation.
-
- And of course the persons involved should take into consideration the
- price of the item when dickering about COD or prepay. If the item (say a
- disk drive) is under $40.00 whats the big deal about COD? If there is a
- problem just contact the authorities about fraud. No sence in making a
- matter bigger than it already is.
-
- Ohh and one more thing. I have found from past experience, that "most"
- people in this newsgroup are pretty straight up in their dealings on the
- net. Most of the problems you hear about are those that involve big ticket
- items that are sold over the net.
